Immigrant against Labrador

Before becoming a congressman, Raul Labrador made his living as an immigration lawyer. I immigrated legally from Germany 54 years ago. Legal immigrants do not need an immigration lawyer. They are generally hired by illegals who often cannot really afford the exorbitant fees. Win or lose, the lawyer wins since he is paid upfront. If he loses the case, the client is deported. Case closed.

Labrador would be considered an immigrant just like me if it weren’t for Puerto Rico’s special status.

I stayed in the USA because of our national parks, forests and other public lands that do not exist in Europe. Therefore, I am vehemently opposed to Labrador’s effort to hand over federal lands to state or local control to be exploited for short term gains.
