Game ball goes to …
River Cracraft more than doubled his season touchdown total on Saturday. He began the day with two scores in 2016 and ended it with five, scoring all three touchdowns consecutively. He finished the day with nine catches for 87 yards.
Offensive player of the game …
Luke Falk did not have more touchdowns than incompletions this week, but it is hard to find fault with his performance. He completed 36-of-50 passes for 373 yards and five touchdowns.
Defensive player of the game …
Nate DeRider has taken a bigger role on the WSU defense recently and he responded on Saturday. The junior linebacker had his first career interception and first sack, helping to stifle Cal’s potent offense.
