Take that back

Kaleb Fossum’s punt return for a touchdown after California’s first drive gave the Cougars a lead they would never relinquish. It was the first punt return for a score since Michael Bumpus in 2005.

Rushing things

The Cougars made it 14-0 when Gerard Wicks plunged into the end zone from two yards out. WSU had a dominant ground game and rushed for more than 200 yards for the third time in 2016.

Marks hits mark

When Gabe Marks caught his second touchdown pass of the game midway through the fourth quarter, it gave him 295 receptions for his career. That’s more receptions than any wide receiver in the history of the Pac-12.
