Game ball goes to …

Luke Falk has played superbly throughout Washington State’s seven-game winning streak, but he has never been better than he was on Saturday against Arizona. The junior quarterback left before the third quarter was over but managed to complete 32 of 35 passes for 311 yards and four scores, giving him WSU’s all-time single-game record for completion percentage.

Offensive player of the game …

There will be life after Gabe Marks for the WSU receiving corps. Tavares Martin Jr. continues to emerge as a premier Pac-12 pass catcher. The sophomore receiver caught nine catches for 66 yards and two touchdowns on Saturday, leading the team in every category.

Defensive player of the game …

Nnamdi Oguayo had three of WSU’s five sacks on Saturday, which were the first sacks of his career. WSU’s pass rush has been tepid this season, but if the redshirt freshman defensive end keeps firing off the line like he did on Saturday, opposing quarterbacks better watch out.
