The Seattle Seahawks continued to address their offensive line by agreeing Tuesday to a $6.25 million, two-year contract with J’Marcus Webb.

The team announced the signing after Webb posted pictures from the Seahawks facility on social media and his representatives confirmed the deal. The Seahawks’ release listed Webb as a tackle.

Webb started all 16 games last season for Oakland as a guard, but has played tackle in the past and could be an option for Seattle at that position depending on what happens with free agent Russell Okung.

Webb started his career with three seasons in Chicago. He was with Minnesota for the 2013 and 2014 seasons before going to Oakland last season.

Arizona acquires Pro Bowl DE/LB Chandler Jones

The Arizona Cardinals have filled their biggest offseason need by acquiring Pro Bowl defensive end/outside linebacker Chandler Jones from the New England Patriots.

The Cardinals sent guard Jonathan Cooper and a second round pick in this year’s draft to the Patriots in a deal that was pending the two players passing physicals.

The 26-year-old Jones ranked fifth in the NFL last season with a career-best 12 1/2 sacks. Cooper was Arizona’s first-round pick, the seventh selection overall, in the 2013 draft.

He missed his rookie season with a broken leg, never reaching the level of play that Arizona had envisioned for him.
