ANDROES, Eldo
(Age 85)

Entered the presence of the Lord on March 2, 2016 in Spokane, WA.

Eldo was born July 29, 1930 in Elbing, KS to Jacob and Kathrine Androes.

He later moved to Buhler, KS where he completed grade school.

In 1946 the family moved to Hutchinson, KS before relocating to Newport, WA.

In 1949 Eldo joined the Spring Valley Mennonite Church, remaining a member until 1972 when he joined the Hillyard Baptist Church.

In 1950 he joined the Air Force and served in Germany.

In 1954 he moved to Spokane, WA and attended diesel mechanic school.

For the next 31 years he worked for the US Postal Service.

He also worked for the Crescent Department Store and Cavanaugh Hotel.

Eldo married Lorraine Reinhardt in 1955.


Eldo was preceded in death by his parents; and four siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; siblings Verna Guilbeau, Milton Androes, Norman Androes, and Clara Adkins; children Randy (Melody) Androes, Pam (John) Sullivan, LaDonna (Jeff) Eschliman, and Jerry (Mary) Androes; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at Hillyard Baptist Church, 2121 E Wabash Ave, Spokane, WA, Saturday, March 12, 2016, 11 AM.
