Leavenworth woman injured in Highway 2 crash

LEAVENWORTH – A Leavenworth woman was seriously injured Friday, June 18, 2016, afternoon when her car veered off Highway 2 two miles east of Leavenworth and struck a fence and a tree.

Nancy Fallert, 68, was taken to Central Washington Hospital after the crash, which was reported shortly before 4 a.m. She was in critical condition Friday morning.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident, according to the Washington State Patrol. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
