Kira’s Kloset needs a new space
The nonprofit organization Kira’s Kloset, a children’s clothes and book bank located in rooms donated by the Mead School District at 12509 N. Market St., is looking for a new, free home.
Director Debbie Wraspir said she has to relocate Kira’s Kloset because the current building needs extensive repairs and may be torn down. She hopes to find a new location as soon as possible.
Wraspir wrote in an email that the organization is hoping to fine 4,000 to 5,000 square feet, including a display and storage area and restrooms. There must be some parking, too.
“We’d really like for it to be handicap accessible, and preferably on a bus line,” Wraspir wrote.
She’s hoping to find a new location in north Spokane.
“We are open to sharing space because we are only open once a month,” Wraspir wrote.
