Woman accused of tying up, assaulting 91-year-old man
A woman has been arrested after reportedly confessing to tying up, gagging, assaulting and robbing a 91-year-old man in his Spokane Valley apartment.
Stephanie C. Davis, 26, is in the Spokane County Jail facing charges of second-degree robbery and unlawful imprisonment.
The victim told police that he had given Davis a ride from the grocery store when she tied him up and hit him with her fists and a glass bowl, according to court documents. In addition to his check book and wallet, Davis reportedly stole his apartment key, life alert necklace, scissors and the bowl she allegedly hit him with.
The victim also turned over court documents with Davis’ name on them that he found in his apartment after the incident, according to court documents.
Davis was also wanted on a warrant for escape from community custody at the time of her arrest. She pleaded guilty to second-degree assault last month.
