A new approach

“Why throw your vote away?” I often hear that question when I say I’m voting for an independent, Dave Wilson, for Congress. The truth is, voting for Wilson is the only way not to throw my vote away.

No Democrat has won election to the U.S. House of Representatives in Eastern Washington in the last 24 years. A Democrat can’t. The political make-up of the district is against them. Time and time again Cathy McMorris Rodgers defeats solid Democratic candidates. Each time Democratic voters have been disappointed that their candidate lost to a politician who appears to do little for her district.

I’m voting for Wilson because I want to try a new approach. A moderate independent can defeat McMorris Rodgers in November. He has both Democratic and Republican supporters. He also has the right ideas. Wilson wants to work for campaign finance reform to end the legal corruption of big money in politics.

Let’s elect Dave Wilson to Congress and let’s get the representation we deserve.
