Obituary: Pierce, Thomas Glade

Thomas Glade Pierce, 64, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Tom was born on December 31, 1951 to Glade and Mary Pierce in Sandpoint.

He graduated in 1970 from West Valley High School, and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

Throughout his life, Tom lived in Clark Fork, Spokane Valley and the Sandpoint area.

Tom is survived by his wife Shelley Pierce; four children Janny (Sam), Mark, Shannon (Clint) and Mike; three step-children Shawn (Katrina), Lynsey (Matt) and Randy (Tasha); nine grandchildren Megan, Rex, Noah, Joe, Mahala, Tyler, Abbie, Brendan and Ryan; and brother Jerry (Terri).

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 27 at 10am at The Intersection Church (905 N. McDonald, Spokane Valley) with a gathering to follow at the Ref Sports Bar (14208 E. Sprague, Spokane Valley).
