(Age 91)

Passed away peace-fully February 13, 2016 with her loving husband Don beside her.

Nadine was born March 11, 1924 in St. Maries, Idaho to Patrick and Eva Moran.

She grew up in Spokane and graduated from North Central High School in 1942.

Nadine loved her family and had a passion for music and ballroom dancing.

During the early 1940s Nadine played accordion for many dance bands around the Spokane area.

She also worked at Guertin and Ross Music Store where she was privileged to meet many famous performers of the 1940s including Stan Kenton.

After spending many years with the Spokane City Treasurer’s Office, Nadine worked for 26 years with the Spokane Police Department’s Special Investigation Unit retiring in 2000.

In retirement, Nadine and her husband Don enjoyed attending many of the senior dances around Spokane and going on many cruises over the next 10 years.

With a full and wonderful life filled with many adventures Nadine’s most important passion was the love of her family.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents Pat and Essie Moran, Eva and Gil Gilman and her granddaughter Kim.

She is survived by her sons Michael Holland (Shara), Patrick Holland (Trudy); daughter Jean Mims; grandchildren Sean, Christopher, Peter, Gerald and Jennifer and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday and Friday 10-5 PM at Heritage and Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Chapel.
