Arnold B. Arnot passed away February 2, 2016 in Spokane Valley, WA.
He was born January 31, 1932 in Moscow, ID the son of Leo and Grace (Henderson) Arnot.
Arnie attended Troy Grade School and then North Central High School in Spokane.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, after which, he graduated from Devry Technical School in Chicago.
He was immediately hired by IBM and worked for them for 31 years.
His career with IBM took him many places including Anchorage, AK, Salem and Eugene, OR and Germany.
Arnie had the privilege of working for NASA and, while in Europe, he had top security clearance.
Upon retiring they moved to Spokane Valley , close to his roots.
In his spare time Arnie enjoyed bowling and golfing.
He is survived by his loving wife Caroline Arnot; his daughter Kathleen; his grandchildren Jesse and Chelsea; and his brother Raymond Arnot.
Memorial services will be Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 2pm and will be conducted at St. Joseph Cemetery and Funeral Center Chapel, 17825 E. Trent Ave., Spokane Valley, WA with inurnment to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
