The Gonzaga Bulldogs travel to Stockton, California to play their first true road game of the season against the Pacific Tigers on Saturday.
Ray Bowles (14.2 points per game) and T.J. Wallace (13.3) fuel Pacific’s offense. The two are strong – Bowles is 6-foot-5 and 215 pounds and Wallace is 6-3 and 215 – and experienced with a combined 174 career games.
Both are capable 3-point shooters and they attempt more free throws, by a wide margin, than their teammates. GU’s 3-point defense has been outstanding (27.6 percent). Johnathan Williams or Killian Tillie might see time on Bowles, who played some power forward against Portland.
