Gonzaga-Arizona key matchups

Arizona freshman forward Lauri Markkanen is one of the country’s most versatile players. The 7-footer is averaging 18.3 points, shoots 54 percent from the field, 47 percent on 3-pointers and 89 percent at the free-throw line.

The Zags will probably try multiple coverages. They can put size, in the form of 7-1 Przemek Karnowski, on Markkanen, or more likely opt for mobile defenders Johnathan Williams, Killian Tillie or Zach Collins. Arizona can expect to see a fair amount of zone defense, too.
