1. Art on the Green Festival
Annual celebration transforms the North Idaho College campus into an outdoor art gallery and marketplace. There will be summer food fare, live music on two stages, hands-on art activities for children and more. A beer and wine garden is open until 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Free shuttle bus runs between the NIC campus and Taste of Coeur d’Alene and the city’s Street Fair in downtown Coeur d’Alene.
When: Noon-7:30 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday

2. Mike Epps

Stand-up comedian and actor who’s starred in such movies as “Next Friday,” “Friday After Next,” “The Fighting Temptations,” “The Hangover,” “The Hangover III” and “Meet the Blacks” brings his act to Spokane. He also recently released the comedy special “Mike Epps: Don’t Take It Personal.” He’s appeared in the television series “Def Comedy Jam” and “Uncle Buck.”

An annual indie music festival benefiting Team Gleason, which provides life-improving technology and services to those afflicted with Lou Gehrig’s disease, also called amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS, and create global awareness for the disease. Inspired by Steve Gleason, former football player for the New Orleans Saints. Music by Portugal. The Man, with special guests Pickwick, Delbert the Band, Duke Evers and Hey! is for Horses. All ages welcome.

4. Emmylou Harris

Country Music Hall of Fame singer-songwriter headlines a Super Saturday show at the Festival at Sandpoint, with special guests The Bros. Landreth, a Canadian alternative country and folk music group, and The Powers, an indie folk/country band based out of Coeur d’Alene. Harris has lit up the charts for decades with hits like “Poncho & Lefty,” “Red Dirt Girl” and “Old Yellow Moon.” She is one of the most decorated artists in music with 13 Grammy Awards, two Academy of Country Music Awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Americana Music Association.

5. Beach House

6. ‘Oliver!’
Tony Award-winning musical based on “Oliver Twist” by Charles Dickens. “Oliver!” sweeps its audience from pity to disgust, loneliness to hope, disappointment to fear, and finally justice to joy. Young Oliver’s character remains faithful, rewarding him with a touching end to his journey.
