Dorthy May Abbott, passed away at home on April 16, 2016.
She was the wife of Dean E. Abbott.
They shared 67 years together.
Born in San Luis O’Bispo, CA on July 9, 1931.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, her family, and the Casino.
She will be remembered for her baking, canning, and jam; her beautiful garden, and all the love she gave to her family.
She is survived by her husband; her brother Harold Jackson of Tyler, WA; her sister Delores Chambliss of Nashville, TN; her three children: Steven Abbott of Mead, WA., Keith Abbott of Spokane Valley, WA., and Cheryl Abbott of Spokane Valley, WA; her seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral will be held at 12:30 on Saturday April 30th, 2016 at Spokane-Cheney Memorial Gardens, 5909 S. Cheney Spokane Rd, Spokane, WA 99224.
Memorial to be held after, at the Arbor Grove Mobile Park Clubhouse, 19029 E. Boone Spokane Valley 99016.
