Obituary: Karg, Linda Rae Kachinsky

KARG, Linda Rae Kachinsky

Linda passed away at home in the arms of her family.

Born the youngest of five, to Frank and Ann Kachinsky of Spokane.

She graduated from Lewis and Clark HS where she met her future husband, Rudy.

After graduation she left for basic training in the Air Force where she became a Communications Specialist.

Linda went on to graduate from Spokane Falls Community College and earn her Certified Professional Secretary Certificate.

She worked at Spokane Community College for 25 years, in the Admin.

Registration Office, Automotive Department and retired in 2002 as an Administrative Assistant to the Dean.

Her dedicated service to the community included teaching CPR, First Aid, Emergency Medical Technician, and more.

Linda volunteered as a Fire Fighter and EMT for the Suncrest Fire Department in Stevens County for 10+ years.

But her greatest achievement was as a wife and mother of three!


She was preceded in death by her daughter Cherelyn and survived by her husband Rudy Karg, and daughters Leanna Karg, Jennifer Crandall, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.


There will be a memorial service at the Deer Park Eagles on Saturday, May 21st at noon.
