Obituary: Lashbrook, Dolores Ann

LASHBROOK,
Dolores Ann
(Kivett-Fuher)
April 17,1933-
April 7, 2016

On a beautiful, sunny Thursday afternoon, while visiting with family and friends, our Lord released Mom from all her pain with swiftness and grace.

Just ten days before her 83rd birthday, she joined all the special people in her life that had gone before her: her parents, Glen and Mildred (Grama Tootsie to most) Kivett; brothers, Glen, Bob, and Ed; her beloved husbands, Larry Fuher and Mike Lashbrook; other family members and many, many close friends.

Dolores (Dodie) was born in Spokane, where she married Larry and they raised their three children.

After Larry’s sudden death in 1975, Dolores started a new chapter in her life with Mike Lashbrook.

In 1994, they moved to Otis Orchards and enjoyed traveling the Western U.S. Mike passed away in 2001, and once again Dolores opened a new chapter in her book.

She found great comfort in her deep faith and her St. Joseph Family and her many newfound friends at the Newman Lake Grange.

Her life was rich for the many great friends and family that loved her.
She is survived by her children Gary and wife Liz Fuher, Karen and husband Dan Estell, and Kay and husband Jim Sieck.

Her grand children, Ryan and Michelle, Katie Ann, David, and Emily.

She was blessed with one beautiful Great Granddaughter Lillias.

She is survived by her two sisters, Phyllis and Carol, many nieces and nephews and her many, many great friends, some as long as 75 years and other as recent as a couple of months.

We want to send a very special “Thank You” to all the Sullivan Park Rehab Team for the love and care you gave to our Mom through these last two months.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to the St. Joseph’s Building fund.

This project was near and dear to Mom’s heart and it would mean the world to her.

Please send donations to: St. Joseph’s Parish, 4521 N. Arden Road, Otis Orchards, WA 99027-9358.
Please join us in a celebration of her life at St. Joseph’s Parish in Otis Orchards on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM for a Funeral Mass and a luncheon reception to follow.

Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery at 2:00 PM.

Put your dancing shoes on and have one last dance for Dodie!
