Obituary: Iwanow, Linda Kay (Wold)
Age 66
She was born on March 24, 1949 in Spokane, WA, the second child of Walter Wold and Dorothy Theobald (Burdette).
She attended Lewis and Clark High School and worked as a hair dresser while raising her two daughters, Terri and Michelle.
She met her husband, Frank, in 1975, marrying one year later.
Linda and Frank raised their two children, Chris and Jennifer, in Spokane, WA, moving to Mead, WA in 2003 after having their dream home built.
Linda had many interests and hobbies, including gardening, Gonzaga Men’s Basketball, and Thursday lunches at Round Table Pizza, but her passion and creativity flourished in her sewing, drawing, and wood working crafts.
Linda will forever be known for her elaborate and beautiful Christmas trees and hand-crafted Christmas and Halloween decorations.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Dorothy.
She is survived by her husband, Frank; four children: Terri (Jim) Dixon of Spokane, WA, Michelle (Tom) Hamilton of Spokane, WA, Chris Iwanow of Spokane, WA, Jennifer (Rob) Martens of Liberty Lake, WA; siblings: Tom (Vicki) Wold of Spokane, WA, Bob (Chris) Wold of Spokane, WA, Tim (Joan) Wold of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren: Jessica, Levi, Austin and Luke; as well as nieces and nephews.
Linda will be dearly missed and we will forever cherish our memories of her love and spirit, both in our hearts and in her crafts.
At Linda’s request, there will be no memorial service.
