Obituary: Klein, Dwaine R.
Age 80
Mr Klein was born January 20, 1935 in Spokane, WA to Linas C. and Willah G. (Streyfeller) Klein.
Dwaine was a graduate of Edwall High School, class of 1952.
He married Dorothea Duncan in 1955.
He continued his education at Northwest Bible College where he earned a Bachelors degree in 1956.
He later attended Eastern Washington University where he earned a second Bachelors degree in 1967 and his Masters degree in 1971.
He was always interested in education, Dwaine was elected to the State Board of Education for the 5th congressional district in 1968-1974.
At the ending of his term he was appointed to Educational Service District 101 where he served for 34 years.
His lifetime occupation was farming.
He was always interested in learning new farming practices and experimenting.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothea Klein of Edwall, WA; children, Keith (Deanna) Klein of Edwall, WA, and Karen (Larry) Kraiss of Salt Lake City, UT; and seven grandchildren; brother, Veral Klein of Edwall, WA; and numerous neices and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 12th, at the Edwall Cemetery.
