Obituary: Guarisco, Virginia Rose

Age 95

GUARISCO, Virginia Rose (Age 95 1/2) Passed away October 7, 2015 at Holy Family Hospital.

She was a life-long resident of Spokane, WA.

Virginia was born in Spokane, WA to Salvatore Derogatis and Anne Cetta on April 25, 1920.

She married Antony Guarisco on September 9, 1939.

She worked at the Armour Meat Packing Co. for 25 years.

She was a devout Catholic who enjoyed spending time in the kitchen cooking.

Virginia was preceded in life by her husband, Tony; brothers William, Paul and Mike and sister Lena.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Guarisco Scharbach and son-in-law, David Scharbach of California, granddaughters; Tina Cerenzia and her husband Anthony Delgado, Mead, WA and Heidi Cerenzia, California; two great-grandsons; Tyler Phaneuf and Tony Delgado, Mead WA A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 12, 2015 in the Chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 N. Wall St., Spokane, WA.

A reception will follow at 12:00 P.M. (noon) at Fairview Assisted Living, 1617 N. Calispel, Spokane, WA in the Green Room.

She will be truly missed.
