Obituary: Mora, Mario Anthony
Born January 17th, 1951 to Mario Pertronilo Mora and Genevieve Jessop in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Lord gave Mario peace October 8th, after a three year battle with liver cancer.
Mario was preceded in death by his father, mother and brother, Robin.
He graduated from Rogers High School in Spokane, WA.
His first job was handling explosives in an underground mine in Arizona.
We have many fond memories of fireworks celebrating Christmas and New Years.
He went on the have a 38 year career as a union heavy equipment operator.
Mario had a love for speed and physics.
He loved muscle cars and followed drag racing - both cars and boats.
He was an avid water skier and passionate pool player, highly skilled at both.
He also had a great appreciation for quality firearms.
Mario and Mary met in 1990 and married in 1995, acquiring the family he loved.
Two sons Nathan and Tyler, and daughter Mia.
Followed by nine grandchildren who greatly loved their grandpa.
The last six years Mario had a strong faith and love for the Lord.
He was baptized on January 16th, 2010.
He will be greatly missed by his family, lifelong friends he loved as brothers, and a strong loving church family.
It was his unselfish desire to donate his body to the advancement of medical research and training.
He continues to give even after death.
