Obituary: Collett, Thomas

Age 78

COLLETT, Thomas (Age 78) On May 16th, Thomas Collett passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Tom was born in Troy, Iowa on October 11, 1936.

He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.

He lived in California before moving to Spokane and later Chewelah, WA.

He was a sheet metal worker for 40 years and a proud member of various Sheet Metal Workers Unions.

He had a love of God, family, and farm life.

A fisherman, hunter, horseback rider and ATV enthusiast, Tom is survived by his loving wife Leona, daughter Cindy Baker of Milan, MO, sons Matthew Collett of Loon Lake, WA and Travis Collett of California, five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lucille Collett, son Todd, two sisters, one brother and one grandson.

Tom will be receiving full Military Honors at a Memorial Service to be held on May 29, 2015 at 11:15 at the Washington State Veteran’s Cemetery, Medical Lake.

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He will be missed by many.
