Here are the answers to this week’s quiz:

1. D. Many of Takata’s air bags can explode with too much force, blowing apart a metal canister and sending shrapnel into the passenger compartment. The air bags are responsible for six deaths worldwide and more than 100 injuries. Ten automakers, including Honda Motor Co. and Toyota Motor Corp., have recalled 17 million vehicles in the U.S. and more than 36 million worldwide because of the problem. Those numbers will grow by millions because of the agreement, but it’s unclear which manufacturers will be most affected by the expanded recalls.

2. D. Taylor Swift also won top Billboard 200 album and top female artist last Sunday night. Swift was the lead nominee with 14 nominations.

3. C. Letterman, who made Top Ten lists and ironic humor staples of television comedy and influenced a generation of performers, will be replaced by Stephen Colbert in September.

4. B. The Most Rev. Thomas Daly was recently the auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of San Jose as well as pastor of the St. Nicolas and St. William parishes in Los Altos, California. He grew up in San Francisco one of seven children and attended Catholic schools. He was ordained a priest in 1987 and earned a master’s degree in education from Boston College in 1996.

5. B. Clark and his lovely wife, Sherry, were at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room at 1124 Pike St. in Seattle. He was choosing from the exotic list of coffee blends.
