Obituary: Cook, Darlene Mae (Morrow), Murdoch
Age 71
She was born in Colville, Washington on June 26, 1943 to John L. Morrow and Florence R. Morrow.
Darla was the second of six children.
She graduated from Kettle Falls High School in 1961.
Darla soon met, then married David Murdoch in October of 1963 and they had three children together.
Darla married her second husband, Bill Cook in 1981.
Later that year, Darla and her kids moved to Spokane, where she attended and graduated cosmetology school in 1982.
She went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1987 and worked at St. Brendans Nursing home for several years.
She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and researching genealogy.
She also cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Darla was proceeded in death by her mother, father and older brother, Lester Morrow.
She is survived by her four remaining siblings, Mary Morrow, Lillian (Bob) Murdock, Jim (Fern) Morrow, Robert Morrow; her children Tina Campion, Tony (Andy) Murdoch, and Tami Murdoch; her grandchildren, Tonya, Sean and Casey Campion, Ben Murdoch, Amanda Yates and Jessica Smith; her five great-grandchildren, Kailea, Leighanna, Blaine, Leana and Arian, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered for her sense of humor, wonderful smile and the never ending love she had for her family.
We will miss her dearly.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 27th, 2015 at Spokane Cremation and Funeral Service at 2832 North Ruby, Spokane, WA 99207.
