Obituary: Weber, Aloysia (Wolf) “Alicia”

Age 75

WEBER, Aloysia (Wolf) “Alicia” Aloysia “Alicia” (Wolf) Weber went to meet her Savior peacefully on March 5th, 2015 in Spokane WA, surrounded by her family.

She was 75.

Alicia was born in Hague, North Dakota on September 28th, 1939 to parents Frank and Maggie Wolf.

Early in her childhood, the family moved to Aberdeen, SD where she attended Aberdeen Central High School, graduating in 1957.

It was during her senior year she met her husband of 54 years, Paul Weber, while working in the town bakery.

They married in 1960 at St.Mary’s Parish, started their family in 1961 with the first of their three children and moved to Seattle in 1964 were they lived for the next 32 years.

After retiring, Paul and Alicia moved to Pasco, WA for the next 15 years, finally moving to Spokane in 2011.

Alicia’s life was filled raising her three children, taking care of the family home, her husband and the people around her.

She found fulfillment and happiness through her volunteer work and church activities.

During her busy life she still found time to cheer for her Seattle Mariners, Seahawks and recently adopted Gonzaga University basketball.

Family and friends knew her talent was cooking and baking, especially when making her famous German Kuchen dessert.

Alicia is survived by her husband Paul Weber; daughter Kim (Guy) Schultz; sons David (Patti) Weber, Dan (Trisha) Weber; grandchildren Adam and Jessica Schultz, Andrew and Melissa Weber; brothers Lee and Len Wolf.

Memorial donations can be made to Sacred Heart Medical Center, Providence Health Care Foundation.

Vigil services will be Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 7pm and will be conducted at St. Joseph Cemetery and Funeral Center Chapel, 17825 E. Trent Ave., Spokane, WA.

Funeral Mass will be Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2pm and will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4521 N. Arden Road, Otis Orchards, WA.

Private family inurnment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
