Gunn shows his flair again

Jimmy Gunn, who made the cut thanks to a bogey by amateur Nick Hardy on the last hole Friday, made the most of his extended stay at the U.S. Open. He shot his second 70 of the weekend on Sunday. And just like Saturday, when Gunn birdied the last three holes, Gunn closed in style with birdies at 16 and 18.

Gunn, who has been sponsored on mini-tours by the Coeur d’Alene Casino, turned in 2-under 33 but opened the back side with double bogeys on 10 and 11.
