Obituary: Durgan, James J. “Joe”
Age 63
“Joe” (Age 63) Passed away June 10, 2015 after a brief illness.
He was born in Seattle, WA.
on April 11 1952.
Joe was a graduate of Shadle Park High School class of 1971.
Joe was also a Vietnam Veteran having served in the US Navy.
His ship was involved in the rescue and evacuation of Saigon in South Vietnam in the final days of the Vietnam War.
Joe had a wonderful sense of humor.
He was a person of great faith and had an immense love for his family, friends and small stray animals.
He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He is survived by his wife Dawn, his children, Josette (Josie) and Josh of Spokane, WA.
Joe is also survived by his parents, Richard and Margaret Durgan of Mesquite, NV.
His brother Michael (Paula) of Spokane, WA., his sisters; Susan Stowell of Mesquite, NV, Janice (Rick) DeBeaumont of Moses Lake, WA, Colleen (Bob) McClure of Cheney, WA, Theresa (Steve) Lamp of Spokane, WA, Margaret (Peggy) Durgan (Lloyd) Johnson of Vancouver, WA.
; and Molly Kenney of Gresham, OR.
He will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Fairmount Cemetery Chapel on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 3pm.
Fairmount Cemetery is located at 5200 West Wellesley, Spokane, WA.
