Obituary: Marang, Helen Louise

MARANG, Helen Louise Helen, 91, was born 6/26/24 and passed away in her sleep 6/25/15.

With sadness we mourn the passing from this life; with much joy we know she is in the presence of her Lord.

Helen had many interests which she excelled including designing and sewing, writing poetry and sculpting.

In 1980 she sculpted and dressed a doll of Amy Carter which was put in the National Archives until placed in the Carter Presidential Library.

However, her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

She will always be remembered for her ever present, contagious smile and gentle, loving ways.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband Floyd, son Don and grandson Robert.

She is survived by her children: Dale, Jeannie (Ron) and William (Ling).

She will also be missed by her grandchildren: Tina C., Kim, Michelle, Shawn, Tina S., Dan, Corey, Jody, Krystal and Misty; as well as many loving great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at Greenwood Riverside Memorial, 508 N. Government Way, Spokane, at 11:00 am, Saturday, 7/25/2015.
