Engineering

DCI Engineers hired Colin Anyan and Kyle Kaschmitter as project engineers and Mandy Morden as an office manager in the Spokane office. Anyan serves as the lead designer for a mixed-use project in Oakland, California, and is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Washington. Previously, Kaschmitter was a project manager at Tamarack Grove Engineering in Boise. In addition to administrative duties, Morden will assist with marketing, employee orientation and accounting.

Finance

Modern Woodmen of America appointed James Reincke as regional director of Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Reincke has been with the financial services organization since 2010 and previously served as managing partner for the Illinois South Region.

Mike Bradley joined Sperry Van Ness Cornerstone Property Advisors as an associate adviser. Previously, Bradley was with BNBuilders and has 10 years of experience managing commercial construction projects.

Health care

Apex Physical Therapy PLLC opened a Fairways Plaza Clinic location at 10511 W. Aero Road. Tracy Kuhn, a physical therapist at the Apex Cheney location for four years, will manage the clinic. Tyler Smith will also join the clinic. He recently graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Spokane Falls Community College. Seattle Business magazine has named Family Home Care as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For in Washington. The company scored highest in the Executive Leadership category. Winners of this award were chosen based on surveys completed by employees. Jeff Wiberg, president of the company, accepted the award at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle.

Law

Tricia D. Usab has joined Paine Hamblen LLP as an associate attorney. Usab practices estate planning, probate, real estate and bankruptcy law. She earned her juris doctor from the University of Florida and is admitted to practice in Washington, Idaho, Maryland, District of Columbia and Florida.

Miscellaneous

Gonzaga University named Scott Snider as director of campus security and public safety. Snider has 27 years of law enforcement experience and was previously the director of safety and security at Renton Technical College in Renton, Washington.

Provisional Recruiting and Staffing earned Inavero’s Best of Staffing Client Diamond Award and the Best of Staffing Client Award for demonstrating remarkable service excellence.

Nonprofit

Ed Newman has been elected as club growth director for District 9 of Toastmasters International, which includes Eastern Washington, northeastern Oregon and North Idaho. Newman has been a member of Toastmasters since 2011.

Bonnie Tapscott has joined Mood Media (Muzak LLC) as an account executive. Tapscott has three decades of sales experience and was previously with hibu and Emerald Outdoor Advertising.
