Obituary: Rumford, Lucille (Whited)
Age 93
She passed away peacefully on January 24, 2015 in her apartment at Moran Vista.
She had lived in the Valleyford area since 1951 after moving from Sunnyside, WA where she had met her husband Roy.
She graduated from high school in Sunnyside and later from Spokane Community College as a licensed practical nurse.
She worked with her husband and two children on the farm.
They were also involved in caring for children in foster care.
After she became an LPN she worked at Deaconess Hospital for a few years and then at Spokane County Health District in the wellness clinics.
She was preceded in death by her infant son Richard and her first husband Roy Rumford, second husband Bill Dohrman, and two brothers Richard and Robert.
She is survived by her sister Winnifred (age 104); her son Dale Rumford and wife Janet; her daughters Lynn Seehorn and husband Stan, Roslyn Glenn and husband Marty; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be Friday, January 30, 2015 at Bethel Church of the Nazarene, 1111 South Thor, Spokane, WA, 99202.
