Laureen O’Hanlon has accepted the position of founding dean of the College of Health Science and Public Health at Eastern Washington University. O’Hanlon worked as the interim associate dean and administrator in charge of the College of Engineering and Computer Science at California State University-Sacramento. Washington State University College of Nursing has hired Tyler Dean as director for professional development. Dean was previously director of nursing education for Concorde Career Institute in Tampa, Florida. He is a 2006 graduate of the WSU College of Nursing.

ArtAchieve, a Spokane-based educational business providing online art curriculum, has been named a “Top 100 Educational Website for 2015” by Homeschool.com.

Finance

Mary Shrode and Stan Webb have been selected as members of RBC Wealth Management’s Consulting Group. This is a group of advisers recognized for their success in building consultative, fee-based businesses. Shrode and Webb are financial advisers in RBC Wealth Management’s Spokane office.

Mountain West Bank has hired Carl Humphreys as a mortgage loan originator at the bank’s Spokane Valley residential lending center. Humphreys has 18 years of experience in the local mortgage industry.

Washington Trust Bank has hired Jeff Schlenker as VP, investment services sales manager, and Cory Violette as AVP, investment officer, in the bank’s Spokane office. Schlenker has more than 17 years of experience in the financial services and banking industry. Violette has four years of experience in the financial services industry. Previously, Schlenker was with HomeStreet Bank and Violette was with Northwestern Mutual.

Hollenback is the dealer principal/president at Dishman Dodge Ram Chrysler Jeep. Hollenback was recognized for her service to the local business community. Susemiehl was previously a marketing specialist for Sterling Bank for four years.
