Rebounding edge leads LC’s boys past Ferris in Rubber Chicken
Isaiah Hernandez finished with 14 points and five steals, and Dominick Oliveri had 14 rebounds to lead a 46-26 advantage as Lewis and Clark (11-4, 9-4 Greater Spokane League) defeated Ferris 57-34 in the Rubber Chicken Game at the Arena.
The Tigers moved within one game of first-place Central Valley, University and Rogers. The Saxons dropped to 5-10, 2-10.

Lewis and Clark 73, Ferris 56: Michaela Kay scored 22 points and Riley Lupfer added 21 on 10-for-13 shooting from the floor as the Tigers (11-4, 10-3) defeated the Saxons (5-10, 5-8) in the Rubber Chicken Game at the Arena, moving into a second-place tie with Central Valley. Lyndzi Rich added 10 rebounds for LC, which shot 50 percent from the floor. Bria Bowton led Ferris with 18 points.

Greater Spokane League
Reigan Kampmann won the all-around title with 36.425 points in leading Mt. Spokane to the team title during a five-way meet at the Mead Gymnastics Center. The Wildcats scored 171.4 points to hold off Mead (169.487), Central Valley (162.975), University (160.675) and Shadle Park (131.85). Mead’s Jenna Schlosser won the uneven bars (9.45), floor exercise (9.575) and vault (9.2) but placed third in the all-around at 36.225. CV’s McKinzie Carter finished second in the all-around (36.35) and won the balance beam (9.35).

East Valley 61, Cheney 12: Gabriel Meyer (145) pinned Fransisco Martinez in 4 seconds as the Knights (4-0) clinched the league title by defeating the host Blackhawks (0-3). EV’s Chance Blackburn (170) capped the night with a 14-0 win.
West Valley 45, Pullman 30: Brothers Drake (152) and Hunter (170) Ferguson recorded pins as the Eagles (2-1) defeated the visiting Greyhounds (0-3). WV’s Cameron Connor (126) added a pin in 3:40 and Christian Medlen (195) won 5-2.
