Obituary: Wahl, Milton David

Age 84

WAHL, Milton David (Age 84) Passed away on Friday, January 9th, in Spokane following a brief illness.

Milt was born in Ralston, WA, on September 21, 1930 to Wilhelm and Ida Wahl.

Always the prankster and free spirit, Milt enlisted in the Navy before graduating from high school.

He was a proud Korean War veteran and spent his tour on the USS Eversole.

He returned to Ritzville where he lived and worked the majority of his life.

After many years as a wheat farmer, he sold the family farm and worked at the Ritzville Warehouse until his retirement.

He is survived by his children: Scott Wahl, Newport, WA, Pam (Jason) Schillar, Sandpoint, ID, and Randy Wahl, Spokane, WA; his sister, Marie (Mike) McDougall, Calgary, AB; his sister-in-law, Betty (Ed) Faure, Ritzville, WA; nieces: Monica (Scott) Hudson, Moses Lake, WA, Connie (Brad) Moore, Aldergrove, BC, and Cheryl Lenhart; nephews: John (Linda) Faure, Ritzville, WA, Curtis (Lin) Bossert, Kamloops, BC, and Carey (Chris) Bossert, Langley, BC, and Gary Lenhart; grandchildren, Christopher, Brady, and Breanna Wahl; and great-grandson, Braden Wahl.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Miriam Lenhart, and his wife of 49 years, Jeanette Wahl.

He was loved by many and will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date.
