Obituary: Aschenbach, Karl Michael
Of German descent parents, an only child, passed away December 14, 2014, of heart complications.
Karl at an early age was raised in north Idaho, where he went to high school.
He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting with many friends and family.
He moved to Spokane where he enrolled in Reids Barber School in 1965.
He worked in various shops until the early 70’s.
He joined Mac McCabe and Jim Sanford around that time and worked at the Town & Country Barber Shop for the duration of his career.
He was an accomplished fisherman, hunter, gun collector and he thoroughly enjoyed these endeavors.
Karl was a meticulous (never in a hurry) master barber with a winning smile and a good joke!
He is survived by his wife, Starlette; two son’s: Louie and Michael; and a loving daughters, Johna and Crystal.
There are several spouses, grandkids and other relatives that will truly miss Karl.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM on January 24th, at the All Nations Christian Church, located on 1827 E. Pacific Ave.
