Don’t stop there, McGrath

I view televised Spokane City Council meetings primarily to catch spectator George McGrath, who is the gadfly critic and baiter of the council. George is our chief protector from the advance of big government and taxes.

Recently, George came out in favor of police action to interrogate arrestees to check their immigration status. Now, that seems a way to handle the growing influx of Canadians who want to take advantage of Obamacare. We could erect fences on the border, but this is an interim step to combat the menace of the Canadian invasion.

Currently, when we are detained by the police, we only provide identification such as a driver’s license. But George would expand police inquiry to ensure our protection from the insidious effect of immigrants on our fair city. Even better, we could expand inquiry to tax evaders, political extremists, sexual deviants and more.

Hey, we could change the old town. Go for it, George!
