Clear sidewalks

Driving north on Division Street this week, I noticed an elderly gentleman with a walker having to walk on the road because the pavements had not been cleared of snow, slush and ice.

Specifically, in front of Chase Bank and Shari’s restaurant, the pavements are inaccessible. In front of Burlington Coat Factory, it had been cleared. This is a disgrace and should be addressed by the city.

Another pet peeve I have since moving to this area 10 years ago is the lack of bus shelters. Seeing the elderly, mothers with small children and the general public waiting for a bus without any protection from the weather is shocking.
