Obituary: Anderberg-Chambers, Rebecca Marlene

Age 46

ANDERBERG-CHAMBERS, Rebecca Marlene 9/21/1968 - 1/4/2015 “Beki” Rebecca Marlene Anderberg-Chambers.

After a courageous and Christ filled battle with cancer, Beki was called home to be with her Lord and Savior.

Beki passed away at her parents’ home in Arlington, WA after spending four joyous months with her beloved family.

Beki will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her three adult children: Melyssa Chambers Reeves, age 28, (who is expecting Beki’s 1st Grandchild) and her husband Justin; Samantha Chambers, age 26; and Christopher Chambers, age 21; all of Oak Harbor, WA.

Her parents, Roy and Sandy Anderberg of Arlington, WA; and sisters, Christina Davis, of Thailand and Dorinda Mattson of Blaine, WA.

Beki was born in Everett, Washington, living in and traveling to various states before settling in Hauser Lake, Idaho.

She loved living on the lake, always enjoying the view whether a sunset, moon or colorful skies.

Enjoying nature was one of her favorite things in life.

She also loved creating a quaint and cozy home.

Even until the very end she had plans to redecorate in Shabby Chic.

She was a Barista/Manager for Kirk’s Espresso in Hauser, Idaho for 15 years.

She was excellent at her job, handling every aspect of daily operations while making as many friends as she did espressos.

According to Beki, her greatest accomplishment in life was her children.

She adored them and was so very proud.

She was never shy in talking about them.

They were always the best, most intelligent, and talented at whatever they were doing.

Leaving her children with some last advice, “Don’t fear the future, don’t live in the past, live for God in the moment.”

Beki was raised in a very loving Christian home and in 2013 received God’s greatest gift of salvation making her family’s Christian faith her own.

Her transformation as a new creature in Christ was beautiful and vivid and she lived it through her very last breath.

We will remember Beki as a friendly, upbeat, positive person who had a vivacious smile that lit up the room and a sense of humor loaded with sarcasm.

Time spent with Beki was always filled with laughter and a reminder not to take oneself too seriously.

In addition to her quirkiness, she was kind hearted, generous and a loyal friend.

She will be forever cherished as “one of a kind” to all who knew her.
