Obituary: Patterson, Beverly J. (Sanborn)
(Sanborn) (Age 87) Passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in Spokane, WA.
Bev was born in Sandpoint, ID, the second daughter of Harvey and Marie Sanborn.
She graduated from Rogers High School in Spokane and Washington State College (WSU).
Bev had a long and successful career as a Pharmacist working in Wenatchee, West Seattle, Oak Harbor and for many years at Doctors Hospital in Seattle.
Always an adventurer, she enjoyed traveling the world.
With her husband Pat and sister Abby there wasn’t much they missed at home or abroad.
Everyone should have had an Aunt Bev, she was truly a favorite with her many nephews and nieces.
She was a longtime member at All Saints Lutheran Church.
Bev is survived by her son Curt (Wendy) Schindler; grandson Chris (Suzanne); great-granddaughter Alanna; brothers Norman, Hod (Virginia), Corky (Brigitte), Mike (Susan), and KC (Lynda); sister Ila (Joe) Simpson; cousins Shirley (Jim) Chaffins and John (Jan) Taft; longtime caregivers Deana and Kaden; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years Pat and her sister and best friend Abby.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 10 at 11:00 am at All Saints Lutheran, 314 S. Spruce.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be given to John R. Rogers Alumni and Friends Foundation (JRRAFF), 1615 S. Lloyd, 99212.
