Obituary: Hamill, Jeanne Scott
She is survived by two children: Bob (Bonnie) Hamill of Spokane and Timmie (Fred) Blauert of Washtucna; and sister: Donna Andrus of Lacrosse, WA; eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Glenn Hamill and infant son James; and two sisters.
Jeanne was a member of the Washtucna Community Church, Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority at WSC, “WSU,” and Washtucna school board.
She spent her life in the Washtucna - Lacrosse area farming wheat; raising sheep and cattle.
Jeanne loved her grandchildren, her yard and spending time in her flower garden.
She started quilting at the age of 80, which was about the same time she quit riding horses, following the death of her horse.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 12 Noon to 5:00 PM at DANEKAS FUNERAL HOME-RITZVILLE.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 9, 2015.
At 11:00 AM at Washtucna Community Church with burial to follow in Lacrosse.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Washtucna Community Church or charity of your choice.
