Obituary: Griffin, Myrl Eugene
He was born in Spokane, WA on May 5, 1936, and graduated from North Central High School in 1955.
He was proud to have worked at Lincoln First Federal Savings and Loan, Boeing, and he worked over 15 years as a warehouseman for the Eddie Bauer Co. During Gene’s retirement years he found his life’s calling as a caregiver for developmentally delayed adults at the North Central Community Center.
Gene had a passionate interest in the City of Spokane and was always excited by any news that showed the city in a positive light.
He is survived by his sister, Diane M. Stober from Wenatchee, WA; his dear friend, Richie Spurlin and his family, Rick, Linda and Summer Spurlin; Aunt Gerrie Mott from Spokane; and several cousins who loved him dearly.
A family gathering will be held at a later date.
