Obituary: Campbell, Dorothy Frances

Age 94

CAMPBELL, Dorothy Frances Passed away February 11, 2015.

She was born November 14, 1920 in Spokane to Ralph and Frances Taylor.

She graduated from West Valley High School in 1939.

She married Keith H. Campbell on August 22, 1939 and they were married 70 years before Keith passed away.

She was preceded in death by her son Richard S. Campbell and is survived by her children; Carol (Dennis) Snyder, Lori Shauvin, Kevin (Pam) Campbell, Richards’s widow Joy Pocasangre (Ricardo) and her brother Don (Leoma) Taylor.

Keith and Dorothy had eleven grandchildren: Deborah, Aaron, Becca, David, Chad, Julie, Jeff, Heather, Madelyn, Taylor and John.

Thirteen great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Miriam, Piper, Kalve, Mikayla, Kaitlyn, Liam, Britney, Skyler, Grace, Kyias, Gabree and Indie.

She was greatly loved by her family, friends and fellow church members.

Dorothy was active in her children’s school activities, PTA, Spokane Bar Auxiliary, past President of Associated Garden Clubs, Dandy Diggers Garden Club and was an Elder at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church.

She was an avid painter, knitter, sewer and quilter.

She created many banners for Emmanuel Church.

A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, 1926 W. Chelan Ave., Spokane on Saturday, February 21 at 1: PM.
