Age 65
Walt was born on January 22, 1950, in Spokane, WA to Carlos and Mary Schilling.
He graduated from North Central High School in 1968 and later earned a B.A.
in Business Administration from EWU.
He served in the US Military for 39 Ă‚Ë?
years and retired from the Air National Guard as a Chief Master Sergeant.
Walt enjoyed all things related to computers, wine tasting with friends and a good bottle of single malt scotch.
He was an avid bowler, which led to his induction into the Spokane County USBC Hall of Fame in 2014.
Walt was a wonderful man known for his positive attitude and easy going nature.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Walt is survived by his wife of 19 years, Kathy Schilling, sister Mary Ann Lochten, daughter Lisa (Troy) DeLatte, son Jeff Schilling, stepson Tom Jones, stepdaughter Geri Jones, six grandchildren (Brett, Alecea, Tristan, Keeshia, Tracy and Summer) and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 16th at Real Life Ministries, 1866 N. Cecil Road, Post Falls, ID.
