Obituary: Shaw, William “Bill”

SHAW, William “Bill” May 1930 - April 2015 William Shaw passed away peacefully on April 10, 2015 in Castro Valley, CA after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Bill is survived by Doris, his beloved wife of almost 65 years; and family.

His son Robert, married to Cindee, and his children: daughter Katherine; stepson William, married to Amber, and their daughter Maddie; son Kevin; and son Martin.

His son David and his children: daughter Samantha; son Dale, married to Anna; and daughter Sabrina.

His daughter Teresa (aka Sam), and her daughter Megan.

There are also many other caring family members and friends too numerous to list.

Bill touched the lives of everyone he met with his charm, laughter, and warmth and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 20080 Redwood Road, Castro Valley, CA on Saturday, April 25th at 10:30am.

Interment will be held in June at the Greenwood Cemetery in Kellogg, Idaho.
