Obituary: Leslie, “Keddy”

LESLIE, “Keddy” (Age 56) A longtime resident of Spokane, Washington, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at home.

He was born May 8, 1958 to Kedrick and Daisy (Parker) Leslie.

Keddy was a graduate of Shadle Park High School.

He began his career in the grocery industry working as a box boy for Safeway Grocery store at age 16.

Keddy retired from Safeway as the night time store manager in 2005.

Keddy enjoyed playing the piano, guitar and creating song lyrics.

He was an avid fan of Blues music with an extensive collection of albums.

Keddy is survived by a son, Clayton L. Leslie, Spokane; a sister, Karen Johnson and her husband Rodney Johnson, Olympia; two neices, Kayla Johnson, Miami, FL and Briana Johnson, Denton, TX; father and stepmother, Kedrick and Juanita Leslie, Spokane and the many friends he made throughout the years.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 4 at Hennessey Funeral Home located at 2203 N. Division Street.

Pastor Happy Watkins will officiate.
