Will miss Dr. Moyer

Our family was sad to hear the news of the death of Dr. John Moyer. John was a lovely man who understood what it meant to be a public servant. He put the interests of all people ahead of a political party, something extremely unusual these days. He had a good sense about the need for balance between fiscal responsibility and social welfare. John truly led by example.

Hopefully, people who are drawn to public office will study the way in which Dr. Moyer approached public service and adopt his abiding principles. Not only was John a great public servant, he was an outstanding physician and human being. We will miss him.
