Don’t withhold vaccinations

Many young parents today have no direct knowledge of the frightening and painful experiences a child has with the gasping and choking of whooping cough, which lasts for weeks, or the pain and discomfort of chicken pox and measles we experienced in the 1920s and ‘30s. There were no vaccines, and whole school classes were affected.

There were also many lasting effects: vision problems as a result of extended high fevers. It is criminal to withhold from one child, or many, the opportunity to escape them.
