Obituary: Kellogg, Darwin Earl
He was born in Grangeville, Idaho to Earl and Gladys (Schutt) Kellogg.
He retired from the WWP (Avista Corp.) in 1988 with 34 years of service.
The yearly Trail Blazer event for WWP/Avista retirees was rarely missed.
Darwin enjoyed a very active life up to his death with his love of traveling and the last eight years of also singing in a church choir that he really loved being a part of.
He always enjoyed sharing with family and friends of all the places he’d traveled, with well over a hundred tours, and always looking forward to more of them.
Darwin is preceded in death by his wife Geraine “Gerry” Kellogg (Samson) with a married life together of 56 years.
He’s also preceded by his brother Robert Kellogg.
Darwin was a wonderful father to his daughters Kay Nielson and Julia Dick, as well as grandfather to Alissa Raczykowski (Ed), and great-grandfather to Wyatt and Noelle.
Sisters- in-law Joanne Samson and Bert Kellogg.
Upon his request no public service will be held.
