Whits 3-0 after win

Micheal Ramos scored twice to lead Whitworth in a three-goal second half that earned the Pirates a 4-2 men’s soccer victory over St. Thomas on Monday in St. Paul, Minnesota.

It capped a 3-0 trip to the Midwest for the Pirates, who open their home season Saturday.

Ramos, who now has four goals, also assisted on Samuel Jarrett’s first-half goal.

Karl Muelheims’ second-half goal at 71:29 snapped a 2-2 tie and Ramos capped the scoring.
